If Your printer causes some trouble, you might find the reason among tasks in the waiting queue which could not be executed or have been stopped.
Please consider this if Your printer is a network printer and therefore used by other users as well.
Eventually another user has sent a printer task which could not be processed and hereby caused the problem.
In this case it might happen that Your own printer task will get stuck in the queue until the faulty printer job has been deleted.
Solution
It is possible to delete these printer tasks using the device manager within the system settings. Please be aware that you might have to execute this action not on Your own computer but instead at the host computer which is responsible for the network printer depending on the network configuration.
In case that the deleted printer task was not created by yourself, the person concerned will appreciate an information that you had to delete the task due to technical reasons.
